The
6th Forum Ambiental Conference (10th and 11th of March 2005)
there were two different sessions organized:
- The cost of not having environmental policies at the local
level
- The cost of not having environmental policies in your company
On the 8th and 9th
of March, FFA together with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and ASCAME
organized the second Euromediterranean Forum for Sustainable Development.
This edition of the conference discussed the way towards the creation of
a free trade zone, and the high price of not applying policies of sustainability
in the Mediterranean region, along with the great business opportunities
that this region offers.
In these sessions more than 450 participants and 40 speakers were gathered. |

From the
11th to the 14th of March 2003, FFA organized it's 5th conference.
This time the conference dealt with the following topics:
- Environmental Transparency, Information and Accountability
- Stimulating the move towards more environmentally conscious
businesses
- The NIMBY-effect (Not In My Backyard)
- Responsibility for Environmental Damages.
- Oceanic Environmental Issues
In this fifth edition there were more than 600 professionals attending,
along with approximately 40 speakers from both the local and national level.
FFA, together with ECOMED and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, along
with ASCAME, launched the first edition of the Mediterranean Forum for
Sustainability. This was an international conference focusing on debating
models of productive investment to foster development and sustainability,
feasible both for the international organizations as well as the main investing
companies present in northern Africa. |

Forum Ambiental Conference |

From the
7th until the 9th of February 2001, FFA organized it's fourth
Forum Ambiental Conference, once again coinciding with the ECOMED-POLLUTEC
exhibition. The topics of the conference were organized in six
groups:
- Creating Environmental Markets
- Residue Treatment
- Environment and Municipal Action
- Environmental Information and Desinformation
- Economic Instruments for Environmental Management
- Oceanic Environment Issues
In this edition, there were around 20 speakers; experts, businesses as
well as local, regional and European authorities along with 650 attendees.
200 of the participants were mayors from all over Spain that assisted the
sessions focusing on Environment and Municipal Action. |

Under the
slogan “Businesses, Urban Eco-efficiency and Quality of
Life” FFA organized this conferece from the 19th to the
23rd of March 1999, parallell to the ECOMED-POLLUTEC Environmental
Exhibition. With more than 100 speeches, and more than 600 participants,
the conference was structured into four areas:
- City Models and their Environmental Footprint
- Urban Politics
- Action Tools
- Urban Eco-products and Eco-services |

In March
1998, FFA organized it's second annual conference, this time
focusing on “the Cost of not Recycling”. |

Annual Forum Ambiental Conference |
| |
FFA organized
it's first annual conference in late February, 1997. The conference
discussed several topics such as the Agenda 21, the VOCs,
Environmental Scoring, Environmental Management in the Mediterranean
Countries, Energy Strategies and the Climate Change, and Industrial
Ecology. |
